YOUR SUPPORT.
YOUR NEXT STEP.

Explore Enabling Good Lives (EGL) in Waikato, Individualised Funding (IF), Choice in Community Living (CICL), and privately funded support. We can discuss how Clipboard’s services could fit your arrangements.

EGL.Enabling Good Lives

Enabling Good Lives is an approach developed with the disability community to give disabled people and their whānau more choice and control over their lives and support.

The Waikato EGL site puts this approach into practice through connectors (tūhono) and personalised budgets for participants. Tell us about your arrangements and the support you want to explore with Clipboard.

Hosting & service provision

Talk with us about EGL budget hosting and service provision in Waikato. We’ll confirm the role Clipboard will take, the support to be provided, responsibilities and any costs with you before we begin.

IF.Individualised Funding

Individualised Funding gives eligible disabled people and their whānau more choice over who provides their support, and how and when it is delivered.

IF requires an assessment and an eligible support allocation. Your Needs Assessment and Service Coordination (NASC) service and funding host can explain your options. Tell us about your arrangements and the support you’re looking for from Clipboard.

CICL.Choice in Community Living

Choice in Community Living supports eligible disabled people to have more control over where they live, who they live with, and how they are supported. It offers an alternative to residential services.

CICL has its own eligibility criteria and is available in selected regions. Your NASC can advise on access. Talk with Clipboard about your arrangements and what you would like your home life to look like.

Private
funding.

You can pay privately for agreed support, either yourself or with help from whānau or another person you authorise. You don’t need to have a funded support package to start a conversation with us.

Tell us what support you’re looking for. We’ll discuss what could work and agree the services, hours, costs and payment arrangements with you before support starts.

Prepare for
the conversation.

It can help to think about what is working, what gets in the way, and what you would like to do next.

  • What do you want support to make possible?
  • What funding or support is already in place?
  • Is there a meeting or conversation you would like help preparing for?
